Darryl Carr's RGV250 Wolf
Owner: | Darryl Carr |
Country: | South Africa, Cape Town |
Bike Model | Suzuki TV250 Wolf |
TYGA products used: | Stainless exhaust Chambers with shorty Aluminium Silencers, Step Kit |
Purchased the bike in 2017 and decided to reinvent the Wolf. I tried to pay some homage to the VJ21 Pepsi colours in the build too.
I wanted to create some contrasts finishing the frame in high gloss and the white paint finished in matt.
All decals with no clear coat adding to the flat track look.
Wheels and brakes from a Suzuki DRZ supermoto with some chunky rubber for a beefy look.
Headlight from a husky/ktm to finish it off.
TYGA pipes with shorty cans.
Mario from Forest Performance rebuilt the motor (rgv250k model) and managed to get 45hp on the back wheel.
She is not lightning fast but pulls well thought the rev range. Fun bike to ride sitting more upright hanging on to the rental bars.
The TV250 Wolf was introduced in June 1988 with a type code VJ21A. The Wolf 250 was basically a naked version of the RGV250 Gamma, with some modifications. The Wolf had different turning signals, front fork and brakes, black-coated engine, gear ratio and some other details like kick pedal.
